QSI Launches Two Sites for The Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma
QuickSilver recently launched a public and member site for the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG).
This is the Dallas Alumnae Association’s first Web site and long past due according to its board. Its membership demographics are heavily skewed to the same dynamics found online today – women 25-55. It made sense communications-wise as well as financially to get online. “As with all non-profit associations, you look for ways to efficiently and effectively communicate to your membership,” says Kay Weeks, KKG Dallas Alumnae Association president. “The public site will give us a presence with college graduates looking to join as well as showcase our major fundraiser, Kappa Tablescapes. Yet, it’s our member site that we feel will provide the most savings. That site allows our members to make payments, manage their membership information and stay informed with targeted email alerts.”
The public site is designed around a standard content editing tool so that KKG may update the content pages themselves and add photos where needed. The member site is more interactive with a membership database, member profile management, events calendar, and online payment features. KKG may manage its membership database from a customized backend portal, which also includes areas to send emails, manage event registration and much more.
The KKG Web sites are what QSI considers a shared project where both QSI and KKG shared the “cost” of development.
